#GoingGlobal: Indonesian partners visited VSU for research engagementsAfter strengthening and renewing its ties and signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on March 20, 2022, at a virtual event, a soil scientist and agronomist from the University of Jember (UNEJ) in Indonesia finally visited Visayas State University (VSU) for their research collaborations specifically in soil science studies.

VSU collabs with DOST and NRCP for freshwater studies in Eastern Visayas The launching of the first-ever research collaboration of VSU freshwater studies with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP), and State Universities and Colleges within Region 8 marks a significant turning point for the university's freshwater research. By the same token, this collaboration is of paramount importance in filling the gaps of knowledge regarding the status and quality of the freshwater ecosystem in the Eastern Visayas and ensuring sufficient funding and resources.

VSU campus radio to launch visual arts education program with East-West Center, HawaiiThe project is a radio school that will teach the use of visual arts to promote mental wellbeing and create awareness of environmental conservation and protection.
